UBP closed the semester with a Fall Student Symposium to showcase student projects at Galeria E.V.A. The evening began with introductions followed by a beautiful grounding movement led by Rosie Torres. Student projects covered various topics related to birds or specific space/place-based narratives, and included: Black Vultures, the Miraflores Garden, Friedrich Wilderness Park, Bird Island, San Antonio Japanese Tea Gardens, Lackland Airforce Base, Edgewood High School, South Park in Houston, and Guerrero Viejo.

We ended the evening with a meal of home-made pozole prepared by Maestra Vero, Don Beto, Rosie Torres and their helpers. We’re so proud of the UBP alumni!
