One of our favorite occurrences when bird walking is when we make new friends. While bird walking with Rafa, we decided to cross the street into another area of Brackenridge Park that folks don’t often frequent. To our surprise, a man named Dwayne Flores pulled up to see what we were up to. He was happy to share his bird photography with us and shared a few owl stories. Local bird stories and bird people are what bring us immense joy! Thank you to Dwayne for sharing his love of birds with us. Thank you, also, to Alesia who joined us on this incredible bird walk and introduced us to Dwayne!
